Why Rolls Royce Tyre Logo Always Stays Upright?
Of many special features of Rolls Royce, the tire logo(RR) staying Upright even when its rolling is one very well acknowledged.
The "RR" is typically located on the hubcap of the wheel, which remains stationary while the wheel spins. This allows the "RR" to be visible to others as the car is in motion.
Its was strategically done this way to express that the brand is ever progressing and thus the logo never bends down.
If it would had been due to a counterweight which rotates in opposite direction, then one would have been able to rotate it with their hand when tried, but that's not the case either.
Then How Rolls Royce does it mechanically?
The Outer Layer that is touchable is only made of glass connected to the outer wheel which in fact rotates with the wheel. Its the "RR" logo that's kept layers inside the glass that doesn't rotate making it look like the whole center part still and it has been achieved but actually placing counterweight on the rim-center which makes the logo rotate in equal negative direction thus balancing the wheel spin for the logo inside.
